Kids needed help with this, but enjoyed when working together with helpful adult. It is a little frustrating for small hands to get started and keep the base balanced while adding pieces. Also requires time to take apart and put away. My four and six year old grandchildren enjoyed, but were not able to do this alone..probably better for 8-10 year olds. Will save for later visits!

There are endless ways to build, create and pretend. Love the bright colors, the wooden box, and sturdy pieces. Easy to put away and store.

My son loves Legos but as a first child, struggles to stay engaged in playtime w/o a playmate. These Connectagons have been a great toy to add to the
rotation. I've noticed he uses them for things other than just building--he'll get his frog and build a leap-frog station with them, etc. I like that they exercise his mind, and the fun colors are a plus. Because the individual pieces are wood, a few have broken/split, but all in all, I feel they are still a good value, and hope to have these for many years. I also like the simple wooden box they come in; it does require a careful cleanup though--they only fit if they're lined up and packed in just so. But I feel this is good as well--it encourages him to clean up and put things in order.

The sky is the limit with building with the Connectagons!!! Our family has kids ranging from 3 to 18 and every single one of them enjoys playing with these. You can build up, out, around, over and under with these. Even as an adult it's fun to see what your imagination and creativity gives way to. Connectagons are the perfect item to keep kids (and adults) entertained!

I purchased this item for my 3 yr old and 5 yr old granddaughters. The connectagons are colorful and creative; however, several broke immediately leaving sharp edges and splinters and the box had splinters along the sides. The girls played with the item under adult supervision and with great care. I was disappointed in the quality of this item.

I purchased these as a birthday gift for my great niece. It was given to her while the whole family (lots of other children) were present. Consequently, all of the kids loved playing with these (as well as a few adults), and I ended up ordering two more sets for gifts. This is one of the best items I have every ordered from HeartSong. We all quickly lost enthusiasm. Looks like fun, but difficult to balance. Grandparent, father, and children 7 to 3 spent time playing, but didn't find it stimulating.

I bought these for my youngest niece and nephew. They love creating different things and will play with them all afternoon. My oldest nephew will even join them to build some of their creations. I love that they come in a box for easy pickup and storage.

Helps to expand the imagination. Pieces are very colorful and sturdy. There is no limit as to what you can build. We made a tote bag so we can carry them wherever we go. Adults enjoy the challange as much as kids do.

My 5 yr old grandson has Asperger's Syndrom and he absolutely loves his Connectagons! He loves to build....so he has great fun with these. He loves the colors and will play for hours building and tearing down and building again. Thanks for a great toy!

Youngest kids just like the colors and picking up the pieces, dumping them out and putting them back in the box. As they get older they start building bigger and bigger "sculptures". As a parent you want to get right in there and build with them. There are enough pieces that multiple kids can play together without fighting over them as well. I just wish the storage box was bigger so that clean-up would not have to be so orderly. I actually bought two different sets and I store them together in a larger plastic tote to make the clean-up easy!

We have 3 grandchildren ages 3, 6 and 10; 2 boys and 1 girl. It's a great product for all three and the adults join in the fun, too. In this age of computers, DVD's, etc., it's great to find products that help children be creative without all the electronics.

My 2 daughters (ages 4 and 9) both love the Connectagons! They are so versatile and allow for hands to be busy and promote fine motor development. Further, they are a great "quiet toy" for church or other places where a quiet activity is appropriate.

My four-year-old really likes creating with these. Sometimes I have to get her started with them, because at first glance it's not the "wow" toy that others appear to be, but once she gets started she stays with it for a long time. These are easy for a little kid to do and there's no "wrong" way to do it!
