The Fashion Design Studio is a great product! I bought it for my daughter when she was ten, and she spent hours designing outfits. Her younger sister (age seven at the time) also enjoyed it, along with any of their friends who visited.

This was a product that they came back to often over several years. Another nice thing about the Fashion Design Studio is that you can add to it later for birthdays or Christmas, buying the hobby or costume sets or the pencil sets. By now, we have them all, and the pencils are of very good quality. The tracing paper that comes with it is thicker than ordinary tracing paper, but when we ran out, we just used store-bought, thinner paper.

It would be hard to find any toy or product that was the source of as much enjoyment as this one was for my girls.

I was looking for a good quality inexpensive light box for my quilting and needle work projects and, based on past experience with other products, I knew I could count on Hearth Song to have what I needed. I got exactly what I wanted; and the light box is perfect - portable, easy to use, right size. It makes the tedious job of copying and transferring patterns almost fun.

My daughters enjoy this product, but as a mother I tend to prefer when they concentrate on home design versus fashion design simply given how society tends to pressure girls to concentrate on their appearance more than their personalities.
