      Can't wait for grandson to use it!

      #sweepstakes. We have had this for a few weeks. Slowly putting it together the directions are not great. So we haven't actually used it yet. I think my grandson is going to love it which is why I purchased it but seriously be ready when trying to put it together!!

      Such fun!

      My 23 mos old granddaughter loves to slide but is too short to climb up just yet. Could use a ladder on it. We about fell over when we saw how many pieces had to be joined!

      Grandson was so excited!!!

      My grandson played on one of these climing domes with a slide & loved it. We got one from Hearthsong & can not wait to put it together. He lives to climb & the slide is a great feature.

      Great design idea in theory, but real issues

      I don't usually do reviews, but worth commenting for others: this climber is generally a great design, great quality with the metal (the unfinished, splintering wood is not...). However, you have to QC everything closely- the first box we got had none of the fasteners and was missing half the assembly parts, just had the metal pieces. Hearthsong responded promptly in sending a replacement box, which did have all the parts needed, but was a ton of extra hassle to double check all the quantities and wait for a replacement. The instructions are okay, but harder to understand than needed- someone should go thru and update the CAD drawings and detail call outs to be more consistent. Some of the screws are really hard to get fully tight in places, especially the green plastic corners on the seat. Took forever to assemble, lot of labor, but seems like a quality climber overall. So, just bare in mind the hassle for the cost and time associated with this product.
