    Frequently Asked Questions

    Do we need to take the zipline down during the winter?

    Limiting your zipline's exposure to extreme temperatures will lengthen the life of the product, so we do recommend you take it down and store it during cold winter months.

    Does the zipline come with a brake system?

    There is a rubber stopper included with all of our ziplines that slows the rider down at the end of the line. It is not technically a brake. The rider can expect a fun, tempered bounce at the end of the ride (not a hard and fast brake).

    We do not have two suitable trees – can we attach one end of the zipline to another structure (like a platform or treehouse)?

    Our ziplines can be installed on structures other than a tree; however, we do not include hardware for this and we highly advise this type of installation be performed by a licensed professional for safety.

    Our trees are less than 100 ft apart. Will the zipline still work and can we cut the extra cable?

    That will work great! Do not cut the cable – just wrap the excess cable around the tree.

      Our kids and their kids love it

      Kids love it, my grandaughter wants someone to catch her at the end. We have rigged up another breaking method, as the one included did not slow them down enough before impact with the tree.

      Fun but…….

      Fun zip line for kiddos! Yes it's horrible to tighten! The rubber stopper is worthless causing safety issue! Rubber stopper has fallen apart less than 3 weeks after installing! Only 1/2 of rubber stopper is on as it's already worn through. Having to buy new stopper after spending so much on it really doesn't seem right! Handle bars are nice as they cover the line. Really need a platform on both ends as directions want you to have it fairly high in the air. It definitely gives quite a jolt at the end. My 9 year old didn't hold on tight enough and ended up being thrown off flat on his back. We've moved it up and down quite a bit but it still jerks kiddos. My 6 & 9 year old love it. A taller person is necessary to be out there constantly pulling the 1/2 destroyed stopper back up as it slides down line on each use. So far have has 5, 6, 9, and 10 year olds use it. Beware neighbor kids will be over! Yes, I would recommend but with modifications.
