Sky Island Stand with Spinner Attachment

My daughter got this for Christmas and can't get enough! She is autistic and has a strong sensory need to spin, so it is a great fit for us. The footprint is small enough for our yard, the colors are fun, the cushion works well, it assembled easily and the quality of the stand and swing are top-notch. We especially love that it is big enough and strong enough to hold the whole family! My only complaint is for the tent portion, which should be a really cool feature, as my daughter loves to make cozy forts--unfortunately, it is not sewn well, the velcro closures seem to be sewn on in the reverse way so they aren't very usable, and it would be so much better with a few straps at the bottom to secure it to the swing so that it doesn't ride up or flap around with the slightest breeze. Overall, this swing is a real winner and we are so happy we purchased it!

Wow! Our whole family absolutely loves the sky island round swing! 60"" in diameter means four people can hang out in it at once. And they do! We have a different stand and we were going to keep switching them out, but everyone likes the sky island round swing so much that we never hang the others up anymore. We are therapeutic foster parents fostering kids ages 0-18, and our original kids are all grown. Grown or not, everyone loves this swing. It is the perfect place to do bedtime story readalouds with children when they first come to our home and are traumatized and terrified, too-- especially kids who have never been read to at home. This is the perfect wind-down swing. I sure wish we could afford more-- I would honestly put these in every bedroom! Hearthsong products are amazing and I use them at home and also at school as a special education teacher. We don't have the pad, but we do use a 60"" round tablecloth we already owned which covers it nicely when we want to. We may order the pad and still use the round tablecloth as a blanket on it, since many kids love to handle the fringe and it fits perfectly. (If you out the swing in a bedroom, this is a great way to make it natch any decor! There are tons of round tablecloths which are soft and they come in every imaginable color and pattern. Spreading it out neatly is easy if yiu stand in one spot and spin the swing and just pull whichever part is closest to you to meet the edge. Soon the swing will spin all the way…
